Written by Christina Williams on January 16, 2011 – 5:09 pm

Whether your state calls it DWI, DUI, or DUII, drunk driving is dangerous not only for the driver but also for passengers, other drivers, pedestrians, and property. And driving drunk with a child in the car, who has no choice but to be there, should be treated as a serious crime.

Home Insurance & Flooding

Written by Zachary Jones on January 16, 2011 – 4:27 am

I don’t know about you but watching the news has been difficult for me over the past couple of weeks as a result of the floods that have occurred in Queensland, Australia and Brazil as well as those in Sri Lanka that seem to have been less reported on. It seems that the whole world’s weather has gone a little crazy of late. This is exactly why you should have measures in place to protect you, such as home insurance.

However, thousands and thousands of shoppers will spend the next few weeks searching for the perfect gifts, and thousands and thousands of thieves will spend the next few weeks breaking into cars to steal them. ‘Tis the season, indeed.

Christmas gifts left in cars are easy pickings for car prowlers. Shoppers often drop packages off in the car, and return to the mall to continue shopping or have lunch.

Written by Zachary Jones on January 10, 2011 – 7:06 am

There is finally some good news on the horizon for those people who love their cheap car insurance and yet either stand to lose it or have suffered with it at the hands of uninsured drivers in the past. The government is finally taking a much tougher stance on it that will hopefully discourage those people that are tempted to put others at risk when they start the engine on their uninsured car. Not only has this already been announced but the measures are set to come into force in spring thanks to the action by the Department of Transport.

Although 400 uninsured drivers are caught by police everyday, many ultimately get away with it because they never get pulled over.
